In this week's blog I'm here to tell you guys all my favorite products that won't empty your wallet. These are my favorite items you can find in the drugstore that I believe actually do a fabulous job. Being a college student, I know how heartbreaking it is to spend 50 bucks on one palette. I'm here to tell you guys the best products that will give you the best results for 1/5 of the price!
I'll start with foundations, and I have two of them. By far my favorite foundations from the drugstore are the Rimmel Stay Matte and the Maybelline FitMe Matte and Poreless. If you can't tell already, I have quite oily skin and I have tried just about every product from the drugstore to battle it. These two foundations have been my go-to time and time again, the Stay Matte is a creamy, mousse-y consistency and it is quite thick. This provides for great coverage with a perfectly matte finish. The FitMe is similar but is more liquidated. It does a fabulous job at covering the appearance of large pores for a seamless finish. I love applying these products either with a foundation buffing brush, or a beauty sponge.
Next is concealer, Which I also have two favorites! My first is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles concealer. I love this product because it does a great job at covering my dark circles after a late night of studying. I also love the Maybelline FitMe concealer, it is so easy to blend out while providing great coverage for when breakouts occur. I apply both of these products with a makeup sponge.
For powder I have to say I love the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder. I love to simply swirl a fluffy brush into this powder and buff it over foundation for a seamless matte look. This keeps my oil down almost all day, and it is so easy to just throw in my purse for touch-ups when I'm on-the-go.
L'Oréal makes a great drugstore brow product. It's called the Brow Stylist Definer. I love this Product because it's small point allows for precise application, and it's double ended with a spoolie on one end and product on the other. I apply this directly to the brow in small, quick hair-like strokes.
For eyeshadow, I love the L'Oréal Color Riche La Palette Nude 1. This palette has every color you could need. Some shimmers and some mattes this palette has the perfect shades for an everyday look, which is why I love to use it when I'm in a hurry. I apply it using a small eyeshadow brush or just my fingers!
Next is eyeliner and I find that I always go back to the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner. I love this because it lasts so long and it is so easy to apply. I apply it with an angled eyeliner brush.
For mascara I have to say my favorite is the Maybelline Lash Sensational. I have purchased this mascara over and over and I will always go back to it. It does the perfect job at lengthening the lashes while providing volume, all for the best price!
My favorite drugstore bronzer has to be the Milani Baked Bronzer in Glow. This is great because it provides a subtle glow on the cheeks which really brightens up the face. I apply it with a fluffily bronzer brush.
I also Love Milani for blush, especially their baked blush in Luminoso. This blush is the perfect color for everyday, a peachy-pink color that flushes the cheeks just perfectly. I apply this with a classic blush brush.
Last but not least, my favorite drugstore lip product would have to be the Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Super Natural. This gloss is the perfect pink-nude for every day wear. It's easy to apply and super quick!
Please let me know if you think of any drugstore products that I should try! Thanks for checking out my article and stay tuned for more.
